Tell us about your role.

My role involves turning business needs into practical solutions that streamline processes and improve accuracy. I focus on process improvement, automation, data analysis, and reporting—helping teams work smarter, not harder.

What drew you to SYNC, and how has your journey here shaped your professional growth?

I was drawn to SYNC by the opportunity to introduce innovation and data-driven decision-making into its operations. Over the years, I have developed integrated dashboards that connect every stage of the business—from tender engagement and procurement to production, QA, logistics, and client inspections—giving teams real-time visibility and control. This journey has strengthened my ability to design scalable solutions and manage complex projects. It has also deepened my understanding of manufacturing processes and how technology can transform them.

What’s the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at SYNC so far?

The recent QR Code Sticker project is a standout achievement. It introduced permanent QR codes linked to QA data, handover manuals, and customer care resources—creating a full product history for better service and future maintenance opportunities. This innovation not only improves traceability but also opens the door for SYNC to offer new customer-focused services. Another major highlight was the introduction of POD Status Dashboard at the very early days, which transformed manual updates into real-time visibility, improving coordination and trust in data. Both projects reflect the impact of technology in solving real-world challenges and driving continuous improvement.

SYNC is known for being innovative. How do you see your role influencing the future of the company?

My role is centred around leveraging advanced analytics, automation, AI-assisted initiatives, and cloud integrations that centralise data and improve efficiency. Looking forward, I aim to deliver robust project forecasting tools that empower leaders to make informed decisions on cost and value.

What part of your job do you enjoy the most?

Every challenge is an opportunity to make processes simpler, faster, and more reliable for the teams who rely on them. Knowing that my solutions help people work better and deliver quality outcomes is what makes this role so rewarding.

How do you approach collaboration with other teams, like manufacturing or operations, to make tech work for them?

Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do. I maintain close relationships and consistent communication through workshops, requirement sessions, prototypes, user acceptance testing, and training. These interactions ensure that solutions are shaped by real-world needs and adopted successfully. By involving stakeholders early and often, we create tools that not only meet technical requirements but also make day-to-day work easier and more efficient.
