Kia Ora! SYNC lands the first project in New Zealand.

Sync’s first NZ project features 18 bathroom pods for public housing project in Avondale with 2 different typologies, including following NZ accessibility standards. This is SYNC’s first time working with Kainga Ora. The pods were shipped to New Zealand in shipping containers, working within the space constraints whilst ensuring all client requirements were met.

In order to streamline the extensive construction process, builder Miles Construction engaged SYNC to manufacture the project’s 18 bathrooms offsite, minimising 12 trades from the site.

These bathroom pods will feature high pressure laminate panels on the wall finish. Joinery includes a laundry cupboard, mirrored cabinet and a vanity unit under the basin in classic white polytec board. Sanitary fixtures are by Caroma and Clark fixtures.
